Fonge Academy was opened in 2012 by Professor Mike F. Fonge. Professor Mike F. Fonge was born in Mbo Tribe in Cameroon. He migrated to the United States in 1977 to pursue his education. He got his doctorate in Education in 1989.
Today, Fonge Academy provides quality education to over 300 primary school students from poor backgrounds in the villages. 95 % of Fonge Academy students graduate and go to Secondary schools. About 20% of the students are on scholarships. Fonge Academy is life-changing for our students. The surrounding villages are living in Poverty and lack access to quality education.
